Write a blog post about the ethic background of your family.
In the post, write about the ethic customs that have been passed down in your family.

My Ethic Background:
My moms ethics background: Panamanian, Filipino, Dutch.

My dad’s ethics background: Panamanian, Dutch, African American, Hispanic.

In my family we have a ethic custom.
An ethic custom is when you share something with a person or your family ever one a while.

Do you want to know what my ethic custom is?
Every Thanksgiving we go to my Aunts house.
My cousins, my siblings, and I create a kids concrete with dancing, acting, and singing.
Then we eat Cassava Cake.

This year I probably have wrote about eleven Blogs.

This year I have received 11 comments on my blogs.

Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened?
The most comments I have received on a blog was “Be the Leader”.
I think I had the most comments on that blog because it was touching and some people have gotten bullied so they know how it felt when they read it.

Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?
I enjoyed writing “You Got a Fam or Nah”, because it means a lot to the people that don’t have a complete family, and it means a lot when people feel so pleased with my blog.
It was also fun writing this blog because my family help me write this.

Did you change blog themes at all and why?
I changed my blog only once.
I changed it that one time so my theme can relate to my writing.

How many widgets do you have?
There are 7 widgets

Do you think this is too many or not enough?
I think it’s just right, so it can be easier to manage when I want to edit it.

How many overseas students do you have on your blogroll?
There are no overseas students I have on my blogroll, because I haven’t sent in my nomination blog.

Jocelle/mother of me/L.A:What were your first impressions of this blog?
My first impression of this blog was very emotional because when I heard about the blog called “You Got a Fam or Nah” it meant a lot that she felt that way about our family.

What captured your attention?
The way how she made an example of our family “is considered a great family” that captured my attention.

What distracted you on the blog?
When my daughter wrote a poem she distracted me when she kept writing these beautiful poems about her life processes.It made me go back to it over and over again.

What suggestions can you give me to improve my blog?
My daughter has a wonderful blog it’s just she texts a lot so she always uses “LOL” for laughing and for saying gross she say “TMI” or “Eww..!!”

I chose these two people because they showed me that they have the talent of blogging. These two people stood out to me because they had a creative blog title, they had no errors, and there writing really spoke to me.

In one of the persons blog he said that his dad left him at one, for his memories that he wants to get rid of, and he stayed on topic he didn’t say different things over and over again in one post.Thats what I have trouble doing in my post, but I’m learning.

In addition the other person talked about fun and emotional post.This person writes exactly how I write.For example: I wrote about how my family connects by being a family, so did this person.Like on the first two sentence of the paragraph I said “The definition for family is a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household.Theres also always going to be some ups and downs, but your still family.
Then this person said “What makes a good family is not what size the house is or a nice car it’s about each other. Caring for one another and being there when times gets rough”.
It sounds pretty similar, doesn’t it?

I think that this blog challenge really helps because you can learn from other peoples blog.
That’s something I learned from this assignment.

What makes a great family

What’s a family to you?

The definition for family is a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household.

It’s also a group of people related to one another by blood or marriage.

“Friends and family can provide support”.

So what I have seen in the past 12 years I’ve been in this world is that a lot of family’s show love and support.
Does my family show support?

YES! here are some ways: They help me with my activities, they drive me where I need to be and they watch and support my activities.

They also talk to me when I need help understanding difficult situations.

There is a lot more than love and support there’s: happiness, love, hope, crying, laughter, smiles, joking, feelings, hurting, and there’s the most important communication.
Why is communication so important?

Communication is important because it helps other people understand each other. A whole family involves two parents, not one.

Do you play games with your siblings?

Do you go places with your whole family?

Do you talk as a family?

Do you make your family smile or laugh everyday?
Ask yourself these questions everyday.

Allow me to express to you a little about how my family communicates.

Well my family is a working, and athletic family, so our only free day is Sunday.

My mom and dad both love to play basketball, so my mom made a basketball team.

FAMILY TEAM!

It’s actually awesome but the funny thing is, my mom invited my other friends family’s so we always compete against them.

We only lost twice out of the whole season

You should think of a way for your family to connect.

I chose this assignment because I care mostly about my family and god more than anything else.

I also really wanted to tell you guys about my family team.

:)You know what it doesn’t even matter if you half step brothers, step moms, step dads, or step sisters, you don’t even need to have the same blood type.:)

All that matters is that you guys all have fun times together, share memories and exciting moments, and show love, happiness, and don’t forget to use all the strategies I gave you guys.

In my life my main hobby is basketball and dance those are my two main passions.One of my main passion is basketball because I’m so ruff obviously I’m going to be ruff I have three brothers.Basketball is a very intense, athletic, and fun sport, it’s a way it can exercise also.I play basketball because I am very good at it and I feel great when I play it.

My two main passion is dancing.In a week Monday is my only day off because I’m in the studio for 18 hours a week and and about twenty hours in basketball all together.I love dance because there’s different styles jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet, contemporary , lyrical, and musical theaters.This year I got excepted to senior company the highest company in my dance school.We compete everywhere to out of the country all the way to out of state.

I think when I grow up I have a chance to be a successful actress/dancer while being a basketball player.Well sounds pretty hard right I’ll make It work because I never given up.That’s why I’m dedicated to my main hobbies dance, and basketball.Also dancing and basketball come naturally I just get attached to it.

This video is to confusing because I can’t here what there saying but I think its funny.Today we learned about copyrighting.When we were learning about Sharing Creative Work an illustrated primer.For us to understand what we were learning about.Our teacher showed us a video about pretty much all of Disney shows and movies and they were saying you shouldn’t use peoples writing without permission that’s also called copyright.👎What if I don’t want someone else to share my work?👅

The second part of the video they talk about what things can be copyrighted.Examples are movies, Dances, Songs, Books, and plays.At the beginning of time you can have copyright for 14 years, but then things changed.The public domain is necessary for us.Now it’s a lifetime plus seventy years after the death of the creator you can copyright.Right now I can kind of understand them better.Also if it’s a fair use you can use the work.I think that Disney used Disney cartoons because if someone copyrights disney they won’t because there too scared of them because Disney has a lot of money so they can sew the copyrighters.

This week’s topic is all about memories. Whether they are good memories or bad, they come from the experiences in our lives that shape the people we are and who we continue to become.
